Knysna Stays

Everything was great from the moment we arrived to the the day we departed. My wife and I stayed in the Protea in Knysna the previous night and the contrast from that soul-less, unwelcoming establishment to Knysna Stays could not nave been any more pronounced. Lloyd and Trish have a first class establishment on the go and long may it continue. Lloyd took us for a walk in the forest above Knysna and pointed us in the direction of a few places - he is keen on promoting the Knysna area, not just his own guest house and that is a good thing. Top class all round.

Our host Lloyd was very informative and nothing was too much for him to organise. Very well run establishment with excellent staff. We did find the beds a little firm for us, this is just personnel prefferance.

Everything was first rate. Rainy day while there and Lloyd/Trish went extra mile to book a visit to gym for me at golf resort/spa with great views of lake & valley. Highly recommend as a great place to stay while visiting the area for any reason.

We have chosen this guesthouse for our tour along the garden route and stayed for one night. After the very warm welcome, we checked in at a very comfortable modern room. The guesthouse itself is best of taste and elegant. As our itinerary considered only one day at Knysna, the hotel manager took us on a interisting city tour with his private car - for free. The restaurant he recommended to us was the best during our tree week holidays. The service was perfect and we enjoyed a very delicious and fantastic breakfast.

The hospitality was brilliant, the rooms are modern and up to a great standard, the staff were pleasant and we enjoyed it alot would recommend to all family and freinds

Room fantastic- large and well equiped. beautifully decorated with great views and good well furnished balcony. LLoyd the owner was extremely helpful- gave us an introductory drive round the town and then gave great suggestions and maps etc for - he could not have been more helpful- well done Lloyd! We recommend Knysna Stays without any reservation!!

The service and care provided was truly outstanding. One example of this was the tour provided by our host shortly after our arrival which completely set up our stay.

Convenient location and very comfortable room.

It felt like the owner disregarded my friend and I as paying guests as we are in our 20's. We are very responsible and he treated us like kids.

We stayed at Knysna Stays for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. Breakfast was great. Hosts Lloyd and Trish are very friendly and helpful. Lloyd's suggestions on places and restaurants to visit were all superb! He really went extra miles to make our stay unforgettable! Thanks Lloyd!

The hotel very clean en the owners and staff were more than helpfull. Rooms are very good, certenly good value for your money

Knysna Stays was great place - Lloyd & Trish were very helpful and we would love to come back one day. we had self-catering apartment and would recommend it to anybody who wants to see Garden Route and doesn't want to stay in hotel. Breakfast was delicious! If you wanna spend great time, go to Knysna Stays! Highly recommended :-)

The comfort, the hospitality and the food with attention to detail. By far the best place we have stayed at in South Africa. The owner, Lloyd, makes an effort and it works. We would love to stay there again.
